What is Heidi AI?
Heidi Scribe is an AI digital assistant/dictation tool that assists healthcare professionals in creating clinical documentation, such as notes and referral documents, from your consultation. This helps ensure that your medical information is recorded accurately and efficiently. It does not replace your clinician – their expertise and knowledge guide every decision. Clinicians review and approve the notes that have been captured prior to adding to the patient record.

No. Heidi AI supports clinicians by providing information and suggestions, but all decisions are made by your clinician.
Q2: Is my data safe?
Yes. Heidi complies with NHS data protection standards and does not share your information outside approved systems.
Q3: Do you store recordings of my appointment?
No. Conversations are transcribed simultaneously while they happen, meaning no recordings are ever stored. Notes that a clinician saves from the appointment will be added to your Electronic Health Record as they would be without the use of AI.
Q4: Who has access to my medical information?
Only your clinician. Heidi has strict and robust access controls and is GDPR and NHS compliant.
